Successful exhibition with nomination for Intellinova
SPM Holland can look back on a successful “Industrial Maintenance” exhibition, held in Rotterdam in the Netherlands from 21-23 April. Although the nomination for “Industrial Maintenance Innovator 2009” for the Intellinova system was not converted into the actual title, SPM participation was very promising.
According to the jury, "All nominees succeeded very well in pointing out the needs of the maintenance sector. By further elaborating existing concepts and procedures and through smart engineering, products that often offer interesting possibilities to clients and the maintenance secter have been created. In safety, functionality, reach or efficiency”.
Intellinova was a real crowd-puller at the exhibition. Conversations held with several interested parties indicate that industry is ready for continuous condition monitoring on critical machines. However, the implementation of such systems needs to contain more than just delivery and installation of the measuring equipment. SPM takes a strategic approach to the overall process, ensuring a successful implementation.
