Global Area Sales Manager (Sweden)

Please note: This is an on-site position based at our headquarters in Strängnäs, Sweden. The role requires regular office presence. Please apply only if you are able to work on-site in Strängnäs.

Are you interested in driving international sales and developing markets worldwide?

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a business-focused role that combines sales, technology, and international relations. As a Global Area Sales Manager, you’ll have significant responsibility for growing sales across multiple markets and working closely with our distributors, subsidiaries, and customers worldwide.

This is a role for someone motivated to drive growth, build long-term business relationships, and turn strategies into tangible results. You’ll be a key part of our continued expansion and have the opportunity to influence both our business and the development of our markets.

As Global Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within your market areas and ensuring that our business objectives are achieved. You will work closely with our distributors and subsidiaries to drive growth, identify new business opportunities, and strengthen our market position.

The position is based at our headquarters in Strängnäs, and a significant part of the work involves regular international travel.

In this role, you will, among other things:

  • Drive and develop sales in international markets.

  • Create and implement marketing and activity plans together with distributors and subsidiaries.

  • Build and develop long-term customer and partner relationships.

  • Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, and other business activities.

  • Conduct product and sales training and presentations.

  • Track results and ensure that sales targets and budgets are met.

To succeed in this role

We believe you have experience in sales or business development in an international environment and that you thrive on driving results through others, such as distributors, partners, or local sales organisations.

You need to be able to understand technical products and communicate their business value to customers and partners. Therefore, it is important that you have a technical understanding that allows you to feel confident in dialogue with both technical and commercial decision-makers.

Since you plan and manage your work independently, you need to be organised, proactive, and accustomed to prioritising between different activities to achieve set goals.

The role requires that you communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing, and that you enjoy working in diverse cultures and building international relationships. Additional language skills are a plus.

Since we sell our solutions to many different industries worldwide, experience in manufacturing industries is a plus.

We offer

With us, you’ll play a central role in a growing international technology company where you’ll have significant freedom, personal responsibility, and the opportunity to make an impact. You’ll be part of a dedicated team that combines technical expertise with a strong business focus, where collaboration, development, and results go hand in hand.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and quality-oriented. You are quick to familiarize yourself with technical contexts and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. You take initiative, plan and prioritize your work effectively, and are curious about developing both content and working methods. Attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy are essential components of your professional role.
