SPM Instrument is launching SLD8000 – the new transmitter series for Ex environments

The SLD8000 series of vibration transmitters for Ex environments is designed for harsh environments and is suitable for all dust and gas zones. The transmitters are a further development of the SLD800 Ex series, in response to customer requests.

The transmitters in the SLD8000 Ex series are accelerometers that measure vibration and generate a 4-20 mA signal proportional to the vibration velocity at the specified frequency and measuring range. The new SLD8000 Ex series has an Ex ia IIC rating, the highest level of safety for hazardous gas environments. In addition to the higher gas group, the intrinsically safe entity parameters have been enhanced.
