Technical Sales Engineer
SPM Instrument Oy is seeking a sales-oriented, determined and technology-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. SPM Instrument Oy is the Finnish subsidiary of the SPM Group, whose parent company is located in Sweden. The SPM Group has companies in fourteen countries and operations in more than fifty countries. SPM Instrument develops and manufactures advanced condition monitoring systems that enable industries to achieve high reliability and efficient maintenance.
About the role
In this field-based role, you will build and maintain customer relationships while working with market-leading products. The position offers both freedom and responsibility and includes the possibility of working remotely.
As a Technical Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Providing expert services in vibration measurement and analysis
- Delivering technical support for our systems
- Preparing quotations and technical documentation
We provide a thorough introduction program that includes training and guidance. After this, you will gain in-depth knowledge of our products, customers and processes. When you are ready, you will start working independently and support a broad customer base ranging from industrial end users to OEMs and service providers.
Your profile
You have technical work experience in an industrial B2B environment and a strong commercial mindset, with an interest in production processes and maintenance strategies. You possess strong communication skills, fluency in spoken and written Finnish, a focus on fostering long-term customer relationships, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You have:
- Technical work experience in an industrial B2B environment
- Fluency in spoken and written Finnish
- A strong commercial mindset and interest in production processes and maintenance strategies
- Good communication skills and a focus on long-term customer relationships
- Experience in vibration measurement technology and condition monitoring is considered an advantage
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
